Where I Started
I Grew Up in the Largest Housing Projects in Hudson County
That was my normal. Then at 16, an injury changed the course of my life. I spent the next three years in and out of surgery, and I came out of it with a fused ankle I’ll carry for the rest of my days. For a stretch of my life, my entire income was a Social Security check. That was the hand I was dealt.
But the hand you’re dealt and the hand you play are two very different things.
The Climb
Factory Floor. First Duplex. Then Everything Changed.
I went from that check to clocking in at a factory. I saved, I studied, and I bought my first two-unit property. That one building cracked something open in me — because for the first time I saw with my own eyes that real estate wasn’t reserved for the rich or the well-connected. So I went all in: wholesaling, deal after deal, building a real portfolio the hard way, one step at a time.
I’m not the smartest guy in the room — I just refused to quit.
And there were plenty of nights I wanted to. Days the pain, the doubt, and the odds all said stop. I didn’t. And that’s the whole difference.
Why I Do This
